What is the Price-to-Book (P/B) ratio?
The Price-to-Book ratio compares a company's stock price to its book value — the value of everything it owns, minus what it owes, as recorded on its balance sheet. A low P/B means the stock is trading close to, or even below, this accounting value.
How is P/B useful?
