Senty is a PositoAI page that puts India's two best-known stock market indices, the Sensex and the Nifty 50, into one list and ranks every company in them by its Positivity Score. It gives a quick, structured view of India's largest companies in one place.
What Senty shows
The Sensex follows 30 large companies on the BSE, and the Nifty 50 follows 50 large companies on the NSE. Most Sensex companies are also in the Nifty 50, so Senty combines both into a single list of about 50 companies, with no duplicates. The list is sorted by Positivity Score, which is calculated by a highly complex proprietary algorithm using a large number of parameters, so the company with the highest score is at the top.
The columns, explained
- Positivity Index: the company's position in this list.
- Company: the company name, linked to its full PositoAI page.
- Positivity Score: PositoAI's score for the company.
- Market Cap: the company's market value, in crore rupees.
- P/B: the price-to-book ratio, the share price compared with the company's book value.
- P/E: the price-to-earnings ratio, the share price compared with its earnings per share.
- D/E: the debt-to-equity ratio, how much the company borrows compared with its shareholders' money.
- Sensex and Nifty50: a tick shows which index or indices the company belongs to.
- Sector: the industry the company operates in.
- Go Deep: a direct link to the company's detailed financials.
How to use Senty, step by step
- Step 1. Open Senty and look at the companies at the top and bottom of the list.
- Step 2. Compare the ratios. A high score with a high P/E, or a low score with low debt, tells you which factors may be driving the position.
- Step 3. Open a company's page to check its red flags (PosiRed) and yellow flags (PosiYellow). Even large index companies can carry flags; see the PosiFlag page for what they mean.
- Step 4. Use Go Deep for score and ratio trends, quarterly results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Step 5. Open the company's Histo tab to see how its rank has changed over time. Senty itself shows today's list only.
- Step 6. Add companies you want to follow to your Watchlist, which shows what changed since your last visit.
Why a combined, score-ranked list helps
Index lists are usually sorted by market value or by name. That tells you how big a company is, not how it looks on other measures. Ranking the same companies by Positivity Score gives a different angle on the same well-known names, and putting the Sensex and the Nifty 50 together saves switching between two lists. It works well as a starting point before deeper research.
What Senty does not tell you
A position in Senty is not a recommendation to buy or sell. The Positivity Score is one view among many, and it changes as prices and company data change. Large companies can still face problems, and lower-ranked ones can still do well. Use Senty to decide what to study, then do the study.
Beyond the index companies
To look past the largest companies, use Rankings, which ranks every tracked company within its market-cap tier, from Nano to Tito Cap, or Explore for ready-made lists such as low P/E or low debt.
Summary
Senty combines the Sensex and Nifty 50 into one list of about 50 companies ranked by Positivity Score, with market cap, P/B, P/E, debt-to-equity, index membership and sector for each, plus a link to Go Deep. Use it as a quick starting point, check flags and financials on each company page, and follow changes with Histo and your Watchlist.
